1967 gmc build

Well I'm going to start building my 67 GMC long bed so far just collecting parts.

Motor...
355
Flat top 6.0 pistons and rods
200cc 2.05 aluminum heads
1.6 roller rockers
104 lsa 500 lift 294 dur
Polished air gap dual plan
750 Holley

Going to run a 4 link with 15 x 14 wheels

Haven't decided if I'm going to coil over or air bag it.

Will post picks in the near future.

I also have a GM performance 400 block the one with all five mains are 4 bolt. That's the next motor after I finish the 355. The 400 will be a 421 or a 434.

Alot of problems with this build on and off for a year now tonight I finally got it running like a top.
New specs are
350 .60 over.
6" rods and pistons
Summit .575 lift aluminum heads
1.6 rollers
Comp 292h 501 cam
Airgap manni
Edelbrock 600 carb.
Tweeked th400

Looks damn good! I like the '67-only bed/fenders too, cleaner lines. Never mind how long it takes, just make progress each time you're out in the garage and it'll come together. Keep us posted!

Well had it running made a mistake, ate the cam and lost the cranks bearings.
New specs.
Lm7 5.3 stock bottom
102/102 intake and tb
80lb injectors
Ls9 head gaskets with arp studs
Pac1218 valve springs
Gt4294 turbo
60mm wastegate
50mm bov
Eliminator 800lb/hr fuel system with 5/8 feed line
Boost ref/ return reg
All controlled by holley hp efi
