Migrating to a new server
 

I am in the process of moving from one server to a new server.

I am trying to minimize the downtime, but shit happens. MySQL crashed earlier today (still old server) so I had to reboot this server.

Trying to get this migration done seamlessly will be impossible, but I will minimize downtime.

New server is up.

Please post issues here!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have one real issue.. THere is a certain split bumper turbo camaro sitting in someones garage rotting away.. Get the chit fixed and race it !!!

Some signatures are gone...

all sigs/pics in the /imgcache/ folder are no longer there...

Looking into this, good catch, I fixed the attachments but didn't look at these.

imgcache folder has been restored

all the MySQL DB optimization and caching is done, should be just as fast if not faster than the old server.

After closer inspection, it appears my avatar permissions have shrunk to non-donated proportions? WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot? :mrgreen:

Pic links dont work(shows a blank square) cant upload using uploader either.......This is on a pc and an android phone.

+1 on the uploader thing. Thought it was just me.

Donated members Avatar sizes are limited to 250x250

Your horse head avatar is 205x250 which indicates you're on the Donated members size...
Am I missing something?

I just don't like that Shawn's (Notch1320) avatar is bigger than mine. :mrgreen: I need to edit my pic so it is wider. And, that's the elusive white unicorn I captured in that pic!! :hail:

As far as the upload thing for me: when I try to upload to my album, it doesn't work. Let me try again and see the specific message. I can't remember right now. Gave up trying and it's been a bit since last attempt. Now, thumbnail attachments, I didn't try it that way. I like to use the album and IMG for big viewable pics in threads.

Forum should be running pretty good.
Had a problem with the master database where a table crashed.
Was able to recover it and all the data, and bench testing things, it appears the table was corrupt for some time.

Let me know if you see any odd/weird issues.
